    I’m Brian and I am the co-founder of Hunting Cars Ltd and owner of Slocombe Cars Ltd. I have over 35 years of experience working in the motor trade as a Technician, Master Technician, Workshop Controller, and 15 years as a Service Manager for some of the major, prestige dealers in the UK. You could say I live and breathe cars!

    In 2017 I started considering working for myself, but still sticking to my passion and what I know best, and In November 2019 I started Slocombe Cars Ltd. Since the launch of my Used Car sales business where I provide quality cars for my customers, this has resulted in rapid growth and recognition from Auto-Trader for excellent customer service. In March 2020 when the whole world went into lockdown, it gave me time to think about how I could buy good quality stock and at the same time offer a platform for people to sell their cars to like-minded car traders.

    I met my business partner Stuart Waters after he booked an appointment to view and test drive one of my cars. (He ultimately purchased that car of course!) During his test drive, I learnt that he had a background in Digital Marketing and had fantastic reviews for his company BrandRemote Marketing. I had this idea for Hunting Cars for a while, but I didn’t know anyone who I could trust to bring my vision to life, until now… 

    A few weeks after his purchase, we decided to discuss how we can move with the times by offering an easy platform for the public to sell privately owned cars online for free. Stuart was sold on the idea instantly and we got to work on the plans.
